Vancouver Fire & Radius Security is seeking a day shift Supervisor to work in our security monitoring command station. The Command Centre Supervisor will work closely with the Operators to support the day-to-day operation and supervision of the Command Centre. You will perform duties in accordance with Radius Security and Vancouver Fire with our established vision and mission statement. Additional duties will be assigned by the Command Station Manager.

This is a full time position working the day shift (8:00-20:00) on a rotating schedule (4 days on, 4 days off).

Job Description

  • Provide leadership, guidance, and supervision on day to day activities of the Command Station
  • Enforces company policies, staffing, retention, employee engagement, and employee training and development
  • Provide guidance on operator duties, alarm processing, verification and hands on assistance when needed
  • Assist with the creation of shift duties, scheduling, timesheet verification, and time management
  • Attends supervisor and team meetings
  • Encourages and promotes professionalism, open communication, and a positive working environment
  • Provides resolutions for customers, technicians, and operator questions, concerns, inquiries and complaints
  • Must be flexible with scheduling, including holidays and overtime as needed
  • Additional job duties assigned by the Command Station Manager


You have

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous alarm monitoring experience
  • Knowledge of office equipment and station receivers
  • Must be able to obtain a security license

Nice to haves

  • Supervisor monitoring experience
  • Experience in Manitou (Bold) and Immix (Sureview)
  • Customer service background
