Introduction

Vancouver Fire is seeking a Commercial Kitchen Suppression Systems Service Specialist to add to our growing team! Our ideal candidate will be an ASTT - RFPT with SP, EX, AL, EM & WA endorsement plus a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in servicing and installation of Commercial Kitchen Suppression Systems. General duties will include conducting routine inspections of kitchen suppression systems, extinguishers and emergency light units using prescribed procedures according to AST and NFPA guidelines as well as UL/ULC Standards. A strong working knowledge of Commercial Kitchen Suppression Systems, NFPA 96 & 17A, BCBC, VFBL and B.C. Fire Code would be an asset. Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform on-site trouble shooting of existing kitchen fire suppression systems
  • Installation of new kitchen fire suppression systems
  • Identify NFPA and local code non-conformance issues
  • Ensure proper reporting and documentation for all work is performed
  • Provide support to sales teams related to site visits and quotations
  •  3-5 years’ experience in servicing and installation of Commercial Kitchen Suppression Systems
