Vancouver Fire & Radius Security is seeking a day shift Supervisor to work in our security monitoring command station. The Command Station Supervisor will work closely with the Command Station Operators to support the day-to-day operation and supervision of the Command Station. The Command Station Supervisor will perform duties in accordance with Radius Security and Vancouver Fire with our established vision and mission statement. Additional duties will be assigned by the Command Station Manager and will report directly to the Command Station Manager.

Job Description

  • Provide leadership, guidance and supervision of the day to day activities of Command Station
  • Enforces company policies, staffing, retention, employee engagement and employee training and development
  • Knowledge of operator duties, alarm processing, verification and flexibility to provide hands on assistance when needed
  • Assist with the creation of shift duties, scheduling, timesheet verification and time management
  • Attends supervisor and team meetings
  • Encourages and promotes professionalism, open communication, positive working environment and the ability to exercise good judgement
  • Provides resolutions for customers, techs and operator questions, concerns, inquiries and complaints
  • Must be flexible with scheduling, including holidays and overtime as needed
  • Additional job duties assigned by the Command Station Manager


Must haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge in use of office equipment and some station receivers
  • Must be able to pass Pre-Employment requirements including security licensing

Nice to haves

  • Supervisor Monitoring Experience
  • 2 years of past monitoring experience
  • Experience in Manitou (Bold) and Immix (Sureview)
  • Customer Service backgroun
